Heart failure

Dorothy House Hospice Care now offers heart failure care which collaborates with heart failure services across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Somerset and Wiltshire.

Education, support and expertise for patients living with heart failure

As part of our palliative and end of life heart failure service, we have a dedicated Heart Failure Clinical Lead who works alongside the teams within Dorothy House and collaboratively with other heart failure services.

Claire - Clinical Lead for Heart Failure

Claire Morgan, Clinical Lead for Heart Failure at Dorothy House, shares more about her role at the Hospice supporting patients and their families and her involvement in creating the heart failure service.

“I have loved having the opportunity to create a brand new service that will be collaborative, effective, and setting best practice for patients with heart failure; ensuring that they have equal access to hospice services that patients with cancer have. I love a challenge!”
