We’re delighted to have partnered with MuchLoved to offer online Tulip Funds to remember someone special. Setting up an online page creates a lasting legacy by raising money in the name of a loved one. Friends and family can support your Fund in any way they wish – by lighting a virtual candle, leaving a message, making donations, uploading photos, sharing memories or taking part in a fundraising event.
- Once you’ve set up the page, if you’ve decided to share the page publicly, feel free to share the link with family and friends so that they can contribute
- Throughout the years you will be able to watch your Fund grow while enjoying sharing memories, photos and even special dates with your community
If you’ve already set up an offline Fund, it’s easy to move it online. Use the steps able to set up your new Fund on MuchLoved and once that’s done, get in touch with our Supporter Care Team supportercareteam@dorothyhouse-hospice.org.uk
They would be delighted to help you add your offline total to your new online Tulip Fund page.
How your Fund helps
We provide compassionate care and support for people in our community with a life-limiting illness. Our focus is on quality of life, helping patients to live well and die well.
We give care and support to patients and their families across a 800sq mile area, which includes Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) and parts of Wiltshire and Somerset. Our services are provided whenever and wherever they are needed; at home, in the Hospice, or at one of our outreach centres. We respect the uniqueness of each patient and their family, and empower them to choose the type of care they receive.
Your support will help us to continue to provide the care that is so needed at the most difficult of times.
Tell me more about online funds
Creating an online Fund is a beautiful way to create a virtual space for celebrating and remember a loved one. The page can be made public or private; this is entirely up to you.
MuchLoved offer several additional online features mean that you, your friends and family can visit an online Fund to donate, share memories, post photos and host events.
Offline Tulip Fund
An offline Tulip Fund is set up through the Fundraising office at Dorothy House, in the name of the person you wish to honour and remember. Friends, relatives and colleagues can make donations directly to the fund at any time, through our office. Some may wish to make a single donation, others like to give regular gifts and anyone can take part in or hold their own fundraising event to contribute to their loved one’s Fund.
- Download and print the form here
- Once you’ve completed the form, post it back to us
- When we receive your form, we’ll send you a confirmation letter
- Then every year, on the anniversary of the start date of your Fund, we’ll post a certificate to you so you can see how your Fund is growing
