As well as event support for our fundraisers, you could also host your own local community event. This could be a coffee morning or quiz night, or you could even take part in an office ‘wear second hand to work day’ sporting pre-loved items from our retail shops.

Integral Engineering - The Big Avon Paddle Corporate Entry
I’m on the Charity Committee at work and I always put forward Dorothy House as a recommendation. This year it was chosen, we saw The Big Avon Paddle advertised and all decided that we would take part in it together as a team.It’s local, we have all seen the work of DH, it’s an invaluable cause and I have always known about it, from having grown up in the area.
The atmosphere was the best bit! It was a nice day and the weather helped. All communication beforehand was good. I had contact with Shula and Chelsea and it was easy to group invoice as one Word of mouth worked well for us all, we added in The Big Avon Paddle to our email footers and advertised that we were taking part as a group on Instagram and LinkedIn.
I would definitely recommend it as a good day, although it was a hard day as I ached for about three days after! – Richard Clements
