Skydive for Dorothy House!

Dorothy House is very excited to announce we are holding another Skydive Day in Salisbury on Sunday, 21 September with Go Skydive. It’s going to be a thrilling event and we are delighted to have 25 people signed up already!

Why Skydive?

Skydiving is an incredible life experience that will stay with you forever. There are very few opportunities in life that put your senses into such overdrive; one that has your heart racing, the adrenaline pumping and leaves you so ecstatic and full of love for life.

Imagine feeling all of that AND knowing you are jumping for such an incredibly life fulfilling cause. Here at Dorothy House, we are dedicated to adding life to days for people living with life limiting illnesses, so signing up to skydive is a fitting challenge.

How does it work?

All entrants have to pay a £50 deposit and then they have the choice to either pay the rest of the costs themselves and raise what they can on top, or raise a set amount in sponsorship and part of this pays for the jump (full details below). Skydivers can then choose to take on an incredible 10,000 feet jump or an epic 15,000 feet jump…the choice is yours!

We’re delighted that this time, 12 of the fabulous skydivers are staff making up part of the Dorothy House nursing team.  They are all very excited (and nervous) for the big day so if you’d like to sponsor them can can do so, by clicking here.
