Dorothy House launches new furry fundraiser

On Sunday 8 October, Dorothy House is welcoming woofs of all shapes and sizes, from Dachshunds to Dobermans to take part in a sponsored 5K dog walk fundraiser around Southwick Country Park in Trowbridge.

‘Paws in the Park’ will take place from 10am – 4pm, with the sponsored dog walk starting at 11am. Have a go on our agility course, enter a fun dog show, as well as listen to a talk from Wiltshire Police Dog Handlers. There will also be a selection of dog related stalls and merchandise to spoil your pooch.

Dorothy House is pleased to be supported by Fairfield Animal Centre, who will be offering refreshments throughout the day. Profits from the refreshments stand will go towards Fairfield Animal Centre, which provides jobs for young adults with learning disabilities.
