Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1926 – 2022

We are deeply saddened at the death of Her Majesty the Queen, and our thoughts are with her family at this time. Our hearts remain heavy during this week of national mourning and are also filled with immense gratitude for her unwavering service to our nation.

During this time, our priority will remain the vital care and support of our patients and their loved ones. Our retail shops, a hub for many of our community, volunteers and staff to find comfort in conversation, will remain open this week and across the weekend and our fundraising events will continue, enabling us to raise vital funds to facilitate our care.

On Monday 19th September, our services at Dorothy House will operate in the same way as other Bank Holidays, with the addition that our retail shops will close to allow people, businesses and our supporters to pay their respects to Her Majesty and commemorate her reign, whilst continuing to support patients in our community.
