The Big Avon Paddle

2024 was bigger and better than ever!

Huge congratulations to all our amazing paddlers at The Big Avon Paddle. Together you have so far raised an incredible £26,560.75

Returning for its 4th year on Saturday 14 September, 2024’s event was bigger, brighter and better than ever!

The day offered two routes for paddlers to choose from: the traditional 4.5 mile loop or a new shorter 1.5 mile loop.  Some participants opted to do a mix of both picturesque routes in this paced event and also had the option to join in a fun pirate themed fancy dress!

Byron from CK Sup & Paddle (based at The Boathouse) shares with us his thoughts of the event:

“It’s fun, absolute fun! It’s a BIG social event day and a fantastic community event; everyone can get involved. A personal achievement and a personal goal for the people taking part. You can join family and friends, plus enjoy free food/drink if taking part. There’s the pub, an outside bar, and music entertainment and stalls; what’s not to like?!”
