Clinical email policy
Please be aware that if you have initiated email communications with member(s) of staff or volunteers at Dorothy House Hospice Care using an unsecured (unencrypted) email system, then we will assume (unless you have explicitly stated otherwise) that unsecured email communications are acceptable to you and may reply in a similar fashion.
There is some risk that any individually identifiable health information and other sensitive or confidential information that may be contained in your email may be misdirected, disclosed to or intercepted by, unauthorised third parties.
Please be aware that any email transmissions with members of staff or volunteers at Dorothy House Hospice Care could be included in the Patient Record System for the purposes of ensuring appropriate provision and full documentation of care.
